ABOUT YOUR THERAPISTAdrienne Deaville, MCMA, LMT
Adrienne initially trained in Swedish American Massage and anatomy and physiology at The Southern California School of Massage in Riverside California in 1998 and has been practising ever since then. She began at a well-established massage clinic working there for five years until commencing work at a chiropractic office for two years and then co-founded Soothing Touch Massage Therapy in Kentucky in 2004. Work took place at Soothing Touch until 2006 when Adrienne then moved to England. During her time working in America, Adrienne liaised with Doctors as well as medical establishments; has done on-site massage for many different types of events, offices, factories, shops and more. Adrienne has continued education in Hot-Stone Massage, Prenatal Massage, MLD, geriatric massage, on-site chair massage and more. Certified in good standing with the ABMP through the duration of practising in the US - Adrienne is now a member of CMA (The Complementary Medical Association and is licensed through the Newark and Sherwood District Council and insured through Balens. |

DEEP TISSUE THERAPY

The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints). A deep tissue massage will typically focus on your primary areas of discomfort. MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
Adrienne Deaville Text: 07909567222 MLD is a light, skin-stretching massage that helps promote the movement of lymphatic fluid out of the swollen limb. It should not be confused with a traditional massage. MLD is specifically focused on the lymph vessels to help the flow of lymphatic fluid. Therapy is applied to your unaffected areas first, making it possible for the fluid to move out of the affected area, or “decongest” the region. MLD helps open the remaining functioning lymph collectors and move protein and fluid into them, as well as to help speed up lymph fluid flow through the lymphatics.
